System Admin

Early in my IT career when I was working for the first ISP in Singapore (Singtel is not the 1st!), I worked in an environment where the work is highly specialised and my job was a front-end web developer. Now I have to do everything myself which is liberating because I am not at the mercy of a sys admin for me to do my job.

Later on, I worked under Dr. G Schneider and Mr. T P Yong, whom I am grateful for introducing me to the world of open source. Even now, I don't care much for MS windows servers or solutions.
