Install Obsidian using Pi5 AppImage

I like and recommend Obsidian for a quick note taking app. One of the outstanding features is that it will run on any machine. PC, Linux and even your Android device. You just copy or sync the data and you have one portable app. One of the features I like is the tags. It is like a mini Drupal.

If it can run on Android, it should be able to run on Pi5. Just like you would download APK for android, you download AppImage. Somehow you can't just apt install it so you have to go to Obsidian and Download for Linux (AppImage).

In order to run AppImage, you need to make it executable just like an sh file.

chmod a+x Obsidian-1.12.7-arm64.AppImage

Since Obsidian is a desktop app, you can run it by just clicking on it.
